Mr. Kavore Kariuki
KGroup's managing partner, Mr. Kariuki, has vast experience in Strategy & Corporate Finance, Business Development & Public Policy. He spent 10 years on Wall Street with major financial institutions such as Morgan Stanley & Fidelity Investments, prior to founding an IT Consulting Firm in San Francisco, California. Mr. Kariuki holds an Undergraduate Degree from Samford University and a Masters Degree from Harvard University, where he took course work at the Harvard Law School, Harvard Kennedy School & Harvard Business School. Mr. Kariuki is the Founding Director of the Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness, Strathmore Business School. He is a member of The Competitiveness Institute (Spain) and the national chairman of the Pan African Competitiveness Forum (PACF).
Dr. Joseph Kieyah
Dr Kieyah is KGroup's Senior Partner. He holds a PhD and MA degrees in Economics from University of Connecticut and University of Missouri respectively. He also holds a Juris Doctorate in Law from University of Iowa College of Law with a focus on Competition Law and International Law. Dr Kieyah has published his research work in international reputable journals like American Law and Economic Review and Journal of Comparative Economics. He has taught at Pennsylvania State University and Strathmore University Business School. He is also a Senior Policy Analyst and the Head of Private Sector Development Division at the Kenya Institute of Public Policy Research and Analysis.
Dr. Warigia Bowman
KGroup’s partner Dr. Bowman is an Assistant Professor of Public Policy at the University of Mississippi. She holds a PhD in Public Policy from Harvard University, an MPA & Juris Doctorate (JD) from University of Texas and a BA from Columbia University. Before venturing into academia, Dr. Bowman worked for a number of U.S. federal agencies, including the Department of Labour, the Department of Energy and the Department of Justice. She has also consulted on a number of projects in the East African region for the International Development Research Center (IDRC), NEPAD, African Technology Policy Network (ATPS) & the Bill Gates Foundation.
